Gorgeous day. Sunny and still.

Sausage on a hair and method feeder.

Not a thing. Fishing 07.00 - 17.30.

Spotted a carp in margins, but no luck.

Lost a float (most unlike me)

Chris had two runs but missed both.

Had a few little roach and perch on a float. Also had a nice bream around 3/4lb. Had a lovely take which went well, but I lost it (I was on an 18 hook as the bites were very shy)

Surely i've gotta catch a carp soon? This is getting silly now......

One word..... Disappointing.

Looked like it was going to be a good day's fishing, but alas no.

Sausage on hair rig either side of "three man" brought nothing.

Moved to the bank near where the cars park.... Nothing.

Chris had a nice little tench and a beautiful fan tailed carp right at close of play. He'd taken the rods off the pod and laid them on the bank. The clutch was humming like a good'un!

Very uninspiring day's fishing.....

17th February 2012 - Felthorpe

Supposedly 10 degrees..... I'm not so sure. Felt more like 5.

Fished Mirror lake. Used heavier gear "just in case"

Total wasted of time. Not even a click from the clutches. Bored. Missed Foxy too.

Highlight of day was watching a goose fly slap bang straight into a tree. Poor thing.

Ho hum.... My second blank. Not a good result.
